Warmbaths circuit to meet next Tuesday for Danone Nations Cup

The schools’ soccer fraternity in Bela-Bela was scheduled to meet next Tuesday 12 March to draw up elimination fixtures to determine the under-12 squad to represent the cluster in the Waterberg leg of the Danone Nations Cup.
Warmbaths Circuit Schools’ Sports chairperson, Sekatudi Kgwebane, said it was anticipated the meeting, scheduled for Vaalwater, would be attended by representatives from five of the cluster’s localities.
Registration for the popular under-12 Danone Nations Cup for the year 2019 has been open for a couple of weeks.
Representatives from the Warmbaths cluster were expected from the circuits of Warmbaths, Vaalwater, Modimolle and Dwaalboom.
The 2019 under-12 Danone Nations Cup is the biggest tournament of its kind in the whole world.
According to the organisers, the tournament has, over the past 20 years, inspired millions of youngsters from around the world.
South Africa is one of two countries to have won the tournament three times, in 2003, 2007 and 2009.
