Better Residents’ Association (BRA) of Bela-Bela is going back to the drawing boards following testing national and provincial elections campaign.

Party chairperson Piet Mabusela said the focus was now on the forthcoming local government elections scheduled for the year 2021.

He said in an interview with The BEAT on Tuesday 14 May that the party acknowledged that it did not make it into both the National Assembly and provincial legislature.

Mabusela said a meeting of party structures was due shortly to chart the way forward.

According to statistics released by the Independent Electoral Commission, BRA secured a total of 191 votes in Bela-Bela, and four in the Modimolle-Mookgophong voting district.
