Putting smiles on schoolchildren’s faces

The Happy Feet NGO from the United Kingdom, in partnership with Modimolle’s Hands of Hope, continued to distribute school shoes to needy learners.

School shoes were handed out in February this year, and again in May, to various schools in Modimolle.

In each school the learners most in need were identified and received a brand new pair of shoes. So far seven schools have been visited in Modimolle, and 270 pairs of shoes handed out.

“To see the smiles on the children’s faces — the next generation leaders — small and big, made their hearts content, spurring them on to continue in make a difference in even more lives,” the two organisations said.

They would like to thank everyone for their financial contribution and shoes, for together with your help they can continue to make a positive impact in the community.
