They came from near and far to bid farewell to Midah Moselane

Politicians and businessmen from across the Limpopo converged in Thabazimbi for the burial of former local mayor Midah Moselane.

Among the dignitaries was Benny Boshielo of the Motsepe Foundation.

Moselane’s burial took place on the morning of Saturday 29 June at the local showgrounds.

Born and bred in Thabazimbi, the former mayor attended her primary and secondary schools in the township at Regorogile.

She first worked for Kumba Mine for 20 years.

Speaker after speaker described her as a firm but humble person.
