Grace Katjedi, a Gr 9 learner at Mohlakamotla High School in the Alma area, won a debate competition on Saturday 7 September in Polokwane. The event was organized by the South African Council for English Education. The debate topics were relevant to current issues in the country. Grace qualified to go through to the next round of the competition. The date for the next event has not yet been announced.
Eenheid Primary in Modimolle wishes their principal, Gerda Nel, a happy birthday this week. She has been at the school for 41 years and was appointed as principal in 2014.
