Bela-Bela drug dealer sentenced to 5 years imprisonment

SAPS drug busters believe they had broken the back of a drug-dealing network in Bela-Bela, following the conviction of drug dealer Johnny Nkhotho Tshabalala.

The Bela-Bela Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday 11 September sentenced Tshabalala to five years’ jail time.

The accused was sentenced for drug dealing and fraud.

He was also found guilty for the illegal possession of drugs.

Bela-Bela police communications officer, Sergeant Frans Maponya, said the 29-year-old Tshabalala was also linked to a case of fraud committed in 2017.
