Merry Christmas

Pre-holiday traffic on public roads was expected to pick up from Friday 13 December, with both fun-lovers and motorists warned to operate within the confines of the law.

As is the case this time of the year, the police and traffic authorities will be out in full force, both on the roads and in terms of patrols, with the potential for time in jail for those who
go over-board.

The weather appears somewhat favourable for the outdoors, with the forecast going forward looking sunny, but with fog patches.

More showers cannot be ruled out.

The entertainment circuit is already abuzz, with the in-vogue Lerato’s Grill House of Bela-Bela hosting the terrific muso and deejay, Master KG, all the way from Polokwane on Saturday

14 December.

Also on Saturday the Street Kid initiative will host “home coming” Diski Games at the Bela-Bela Community Hall, with tourists and locals competing in a variety of sporting codes.

On Sunday 15 December the Kasi Social initiative will bring the internationally-acclaimed deejay Shimza from Ekurhuleni in Gauteng.

In Modimolle the Colour Fest returns to Hapido Café on Saturday 21 December.

On the same day in Bela-Bela the fashionista collective Ace Designers will host a Talent Show at The Joint Carwash on Saturday 21 December, where both established and upcoming artists will be
offered a platform to showcase the stuff they are made of.

Back in Modimolle-Mookgophong the ever popular TRV Live Band is billed to perform at Molalatladi Park in Phagameng township on Sunday 29 December.
