But then the entertainment scene continued to party never mind, with Makscorner Chisanyama hosting Pretoria’s popular Da Lootz DJ last Saturday 28 July.

The occasion was surprisingly graced by SABC drama Skeem Saam’s actors, Mlungisi Mathe (screen name Bongane Masondo) and Emkay Biyela (Mangaliso “Babymaker” Sangweni).
The two were visiting a local lodge when they got word about the performance by Da Lootz DJ.
The next day, Sunday 29 July, the venue hosted SAMA Best Collaboration category winner, Sun-El Musician, SAMRO Highest Airplay Special Composer winners, Dj Charl and Lelo Kamau, supported by Capricorn FM’s DJ Thabang Banks.
Also on Sunday 29 July the Motopodi club hosted a jazz session featuring dazzling dancers from Bushveld Jazz Giants.
Modimolle‘s TRV live band performed in Johannesburg on Monday 30 and Tuesday 31 July.
The Modimolle-based band TRV was also in studio on Friday 27 and Saturday 28 July, recording their popular hit, Gae Limpopo (Limpopo Our Home).
TRV was to perform at a Women’s Day event at Hapido Café in Modimolle on Saturday August 11.
