Eight learners from Spa Park Primary School made the Bela-Bela community proud after excelling at the Writing and Reading Competition held at Mookgophong Primary School on Thursday 2 August.
The eight were geared to represent the Warmbaths circuit at inter-cluster level on Thursday 16 August at Lekkerbreek Primary School in Modimolle.
The victors are Grade 3 learners Dimakatso Sepeng and Precious Makgoba, who came out first in the writing category.
In Grade 2, Bonolo Sekgaolelo won the reading category, while Oratile Moima won the writing section.
Kamogelo Ramollo came out first in mathematics, while Christian Brown won first position in the reading category for Grade 1 learners.
In the Grade R level of the competition, Lethabo Manyama won the reading category, while Kamogelo Pholosi triumphed in the category of colouring.
