Waterberg District health manager Malatjie Morobi has assured residents that the new health clinic at Bela-Bela’s section six would be running at maximum capacity shortly.

He was responding to complaints that just after the day of the official opening of the health facility, only three nursing sisters were available, with the conspicuous absence of crucial
personnel such as a receptionist.
Morobi told The BEAT on Monday 29 October that the authorities were aware of the situation, and that shortages would be attended to in due course.
“We are aware that more staff is required to make sure the clinic functioned properly,” he said.
He further disclosed that plans were at an advanced stage for the completion of two more similar health facilities in Phagameng, Modimolle, and Roeadtan.
The health clinic in section six of Bela-Bela was opened officially by Limpopo Premier Stan Mathabatha, together with another facility in Pienaarsrivier.
