Dienslewering het ’n nuwe betekenis by die Bela-Bela-munisipaliteit gekry. Jeremiah Ngobeni, burgemeester, het die afgelope week self die kliëntedienssentrum se inligtingstoonbank beman. Inwoners was verbaas om hom in die voorportaal te sien waar hy navrae beantwoord, dispute oor rekenings hanteer en ook ’n wakende oog oor amptenare se werksaamhede gehou het. Op die foto is Ngobeni agter die lessenaar besig om ’n kliënt se navraag te hanteer.
The Bela-Bela police have welcomed Constable Charlie Chauke (31) as new Sector 2 commander in the Bela-Bela area. Chauke was transferred from the Tzaneen police station. Sector 2 consists primarily of the Bela-Bela township. Chauke is available to all members of the community to share information about public gatherings, sport events and protests.
