Armed robbery suspects dismissed from duty
The Bela-Bela SAPS has confirmed that the four officers facing charges of, among others, armed robbery, have been relieved of their duties with effect from Wednesday 7 November. Humbulani Mulaudzi (39), Hlengani Jan Maswanganyi (33), Sibusiso Makwela (37) and Simon Sebelebele (40) appeared once again before the Bela-Bela Magistrate Court on Friday 9 November.

The case was postponed to Thursday 13 December.
Bela-Bela Station Commander, Colonel Lindie Marx, declined to provide further details as to the circumstances surrounding the dismissal of the foursome.
The four men remained on bail of R5 000 each, pending their next court appearance.
The court proceedings were a sequel to the brazen armed robbery from which a cash amount of R190 000 was taken.
The charges against the four men include kidnapping, armed robbery and corruption.
