Football lovers in Modimolle would this Christmas raise a special glass of champagne for the runaway SAB League pacesetters, Modimolle Terrors FC.

Modimolle Terrors FC went into the December holidays break with a sterling performance against Barcelona FC at the Mookgophong Grounds, with the Modimolle side going home with maximum points after winning 3-0.

The Waterberg SAB Regional League teams were scheduled to resume the title race in January, after playing the last matches of 2018 on Saturday, 8 December.

Modimolle Terrors FC looks set to compete for a spot in the higher third-tier ABC Motsepe League, following a fantastic run since the start of the season.

The team has won all 8 matches played so far, conceding only one goal.

Coach Phuti Mabotja made his intentions clear, when he spoke during the year-end function in Modimolle, saying that the team planned to do everything in its power to regain promotion into the
higher league.

Modimolle Terrors FC was recently relegated from the Vodacom League, now known as the ABC Motsepe League.

The year-end function hosted by Vulani Funerals, served to recognise best-performing athletes of Fitness for All Athletics Club, and to also unveil the new director of the soccer team.

Vulani Funerals founder, Raisibe Pole-Nkosi, was announced as the new owner of Modimolle Terrors FC.
