Pole among delegates in Denmark
The Waterberg-based president of the South African Handball Federation, Ally Pole, spearheaded a delegation to the World handball Championships in Denmark.

His deputy, Sargent Kgosana, was also in attendance.
The tournament opened on Thursday 10 January, featuring teams from 24 nations.
The South African legation attended as observers.
Pole left for Denmark on Thursday 24 January, and was expected to return home on Wednesday 30 January.
He had one-on-one engagements with various delegates from other countries, among them India’s Dr. M Ramasubramani, Mexico’s Mario Garcia de la Torre, Greece’s Konstantinos Gkantis, Spain’s Dr. Francisco Vidal Blázquez García and Dr Armand Llewellyn Harper of Barbados.
Pole said the meeting was meant to forge working relations.
