Bela-Bela temperatures headed south on Friday

The Weather Service has forecast temperatures of as low as 19 degrees for Bela-Bela on Friday 14 June.

The day should be the coldest thus far since winter kicked in officially on Wednesday 15 May.

But residents in the town of Bela-Bela can breathe a cautious sigh of relief, with temperatures expected to tick up to 21 degrees on Saturday 15 June.

The weatherman has forecast an average of 20 degrees for Sunday, with clear skies throughout the weekend.

In Mookgophong the weatherman has forecast temperatures of around 20 degrees on Friday, with light clouds.

Temperatures on Saturday were forecast to tick up to 21 degrees, and rise again slightly to 22 degrees on Sunday, with light clouds forecast throughout the weekend.

Residents in Modimolle can look forward to a chilly Friday at 20 degrees.

The weatherman has forecast that temperatures would tick up to 22 degrees on Saturday and rise steadily to 23 degrees on Sunday, with sunny skies throughout the weekend.
