The police in Modimolle said efforts continue to make contact with two individuals captured on a shopping mall’s CCTV footage, subsequent to a case of theft.
Police spokesperson Warrant Officer James Findlay told The BEAT that the incident occurred on Tuesday 1 October at Shoprite Modi Mall.
He said the police could not disclose any further details because of the sensitive nature of investigations.
Findlay said the police were requesting two people captured on the CCTV footage to come to the local police station to assist with investigations.
A man and a woman were captured on CCTV footage, but Findlay insisted the two were not suspects, but were sought to assist with ongoing investigations.
