The actual stadium to host the play-offs — between Sunfa Stadium and Moloto Stadium — was yet to be confirmed at the time of going to press.

The play-offs to determine who will represent the Waterberg in the provincial play-offs, was scheduled to kick off at 08:30 am, with a fixture between Modimolle Troublemakers FC (Stream A) and Mokopane side Sekgakgapeng Young Cosmos FC (Stream B).

Young Cosmos will later at 12:00 square off with Palala Giant Killers FC (Stream C) from Lephalale.

The final match of the day will be between Palala Giant Killers FC and Troublemakers FC at 15:00.

A round robin system will be used to determine the overall winner, with the team at the top of the log standings advancing to the provincial play-offs as representatives of the Waterberg region.

The Waterberg team will be among teams from all other four regions namely Sekhukhune, Vhembe, Capricorn and Mopani.

At the provincial play-offs, the two winning teams will be promoted to the SAFA second division’s ABC Motsepe League.

This coming weekend, the SAFA Waterberg region will also host the selections for the under-21 squad.

Players born on or after 1 January 1998 will be eligible to participate in the selections.

The selected players will form part of a squad which will represent the Waterberg in the provincial selections.
