A total of six ANC leaders from across the Waterberg have made the cut into the provincial executive committee as additional members.
A total of six ANC leaders from across the Waterberg have made the cut into the provincial executive committee as additional members.
The Limpopo province of the ANC emerged from its 9th provincial conference with Premier Stan Mathabatha re-elected unopposed as party chair.

Several disgruntled members had their case dismissed with costs when they attempted to stop the conference last weekend.
Health MEC and Waterberg home-girl, Phophi Ramathuba, is on the list, as is the district’s former regional secretary, Tolly Mashamaite.

Modimolle’s ANC Youth League activist, Thandi Moraka, is also on the list.
Others include Mookgophong’s Sarah Lamola, presently a mayoral committee member in the Waterberg District Council.
Tlotlanang Mogotlane from Lephalale, remembered as the former Waterberg District executive mayor and presently member of the provincial legislature, is also on the list, as is Mogalakwena
Mayor Andrina Matsimela.

Mathabatha spearheads the top five with Vhembe’s Florence Radzilani as his deputy.

Sekhukhuni-based Soviet Lekganyane is the provincial secretary, with Mopani’s Basikopo Makamu his deputy.
The new treasurer is Danny Msiza.
