Bela-Bela Soccer Academy sent tumbling

The promising form of Waterberg SAB Regional League rookies, Bela-Bela Soccer Academy FC, was sent tumbling by across-town rivals, Bela-Bela Diesel ‘n Dust FC.

The latter came back from 2-0 down to wallop the Bela-Bela High School youngsters 5-4, during an avalanche of goals for the weekend.

The previous weekend Bela-Bela Soccer Academy FC rose to the occasion, beating the more-fancied Qualitho FC 2-1.

Bela-Bela Diesel ‘n Dust FC were scheduled to welcome Mookgopong Junior Stars FC on Saturday 8 November.

Mookgophong Junior Stars FC also have their tails up after beating OPLeft FC 2-1 last weekend.

It was Bela-Bela Soccer Academy FC which opened the scoring with three quick goals.

However, Bela-Bela Diesel ‘n Dust FC responded in kind, hitting back with three of their own goals, with the score line at 3-3 at the halftime break.

Bela-Bela Diesel ‘n Dust FC regrouped in the second stanza, and scored two more goals, with the academy manging a single goal.

The fulltime score was 5-4 in favour of Bela-Bela Diesel ‘n Dust FC.

Bela-Bela Soccer Academy would on Saturday host NTK Happy Boys FC.
